You Might Only Need the Agent
Pay one annual fee — $99 — for registered agent representation in Idaho. The address goes on your filings, legal mail gets scanned same-day, and we remind you before state deadlines.
Heads up: Idaho Registered Agent.co competes with Rocket Lawyer, and this page is a pitch. The pricing in it is Rocket Lawyer's own published pricing, which we have no interest in misquoting since you can check it in one click.
Consistent Pricing, Which Is Rarer Than It Should Be
The agent service costs $125 a year at Rocket Lawyer, and that figure holds no matter which membership tier you sit on or whether you carry a membership at all. We went hunting for a first-year discount and there is not one. In a market where half the interesting information is buried in year two, a company that quotes a single figure and keeps it deserves a nod.
The Agent Is One Tile in a Bigger Product
Twenty-six dollars separates $125 from our $99. That is not a reason to move on its own, and we are not going to pretend it is.
The real question is scope. Rocket Lawyer sells a legal platform: documents, templates, attorney access. The agent service sits inside that, priced as a line you can add rather than as the reason the product exists. If you draft agreements regularly and expect to lean on the library, the platform is the purchase and the agent tags along, which is fine value. If the honest answer is that you signed up for one reason and one only, you are renting a law office to use its mailbox.
Worth knowing what Idaho actually asks of the person or company in that slot, because the list is short. Idaho Code § 30-21-404 is about designation: you name an agent, and that agent must live in Idaho and be eighteen or over, or else be a company the state already has on file. Physical Idaho street address, available in normal business hours, ready to accept service of process. That is the job. No part of it improves when a document library is bundled alongside.
A quick way to settle the question: look at what you actually opened over the last twelve months. If the honest answer is agent notifications and nothing else, then the platform is going unconsumed and $125 is buying one seat plus a subscription you never launch. If the answer includes three contracts and a lease you had reviewed, the arithmetic flips and Rocket Lawyer is the better purchase. Run that test rather than taking a competitor's word for the conclusion.

The Whole Product, Listed
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereAnything served on us is scanned and sent the same business day, then stored in your vault. Our Idaho address appears on your public filings so yours does not have to. Compliance reminders key off your anniversary month, which is the window Idaho opens on the first day of that month and shuts on the last. Renewal is $99, unchanged, and there is no second product waiting to be sold to you at checkout. One item on the page, one price beside it, and the flow ends once you have bought it.
Fine print on our own bragging: BetterLegal's $90 undercuts $99. Among the lowest annual rates published in Idaho is the phrase that survives scrutiny.
Rocket Lawyer Out, in Three Steps
Hire the replacement first, so Idaho's statement of change can name an agent who has already agreed to serve. File it with the Secretary of State, free online and $20 on paper, with no form number to look up because Idaho leaves its forms unnumbered. Confirm the record before you touch the membership, especially if you use the platform for anything else. Our change of agent page has the full version.
